Privacy policy
Last updated: 1 November 2026
This policy explains what personal data Solidarity Path collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Moroccan Law 09-08 on the protection of personal data.
Who we are
Solidarity Path is a non-profit initiative run by a team from eleven countries. We do not sell volunteering places, and host or sending organisations do not pay us. The one-time fee you pay covers our team's time preparing your application; it is not a payment for a place.
What we collect
- What you type in our forms: name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, country, age, English level, the kind of volunteering you are looking for, your preferred time for a call, your application history and any link or CV you share.
- Payment confirmation from PayPal: your reference, the amount and the PayPal transaction ID. We never receive your card details.
- What you send us during the service: your CV, letters, emails and video.
- If you take your interview call by phone or WhatsApp: the recording and transcript of the call, in voice or text.
Why we use it
To contact you, deliver the service you paid for, and, only when you agree during the service, introduce your application to a partner organisation. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
Who sees it
Our team; PayPal for payments; our form, email, telephone and messaging providers, who process it on our behalf; and the host or sending organisations you agree to be introduced to.
How long we keep it
For 12 months after your service ends, then we delete it, unless the law requires us to keep payment records longer.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw your consent, at any time by writing to hello@solidaritypath.com.
